High-profile, purpose-driven strategy role with statewide impact Opportunity to shape long-term reform in community safety and corrections Travel Queensland to meet with stakeholders Strategy Program Manager | Brisbane CBD intrastate travel | Contract Your opportunity Queensland Corrective Services is progressing a major, system-wide strategy focused on reducing reoffending and improving community safety outcomes across the state. As the Strategy Program Manager , you will lead a complex program of strategic planning, stakeholder engagement and program mapping activities, working closely with internal leaders and external partners. This role is hands-on, highly consultative and will play a central role in shaping future policy, planning and implementation approaches across Queensland. Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Strategy Group, you will take accountability for delivering key strategic outputs, facilitating statewide consultation and ensuring strong governance and alignment with organisational priorities. Key responsibilities Lead the planning and delivery of a phased program of work to support development and implementation of the reducing reoffending strategy. Plan, facilitate and deliver regional consultation forums and engagement activities across Queensland. Analyse consultation outcomes and translate insights into strategy, policy and place-based planning documentation. Develop program implementation, change management, communications and stakeholder engagement plans. Facilitate outcomes mapping and evaluation framework development in collaboration with research and evaluation leads. Prepare high-quality strategy papers, policy documents, briefs and planning artefacts. Establish and support appropriate governance, reporting and assurance mechanisms. Build strong relationships across the organisation and with external stakeholders to drive alignment and delivery. About you You are an experienced strategy or program leader who thrives in complex environments and enjoys translating consultation and evidence into clear, actionable strategy. You bring strong facilitation, stakeholder engagement and planning capability, along with the confidence to work autonomously and deliver high-impact outcomes. Key requirements Extensive experience leading complex strategies or programs of work within large organisations. Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and consultation experience across diverse groups. Proven ability to analyse information and develop high-quality strategy, planning and policy documentation. Sound governance, risk and reporting capability within public sector or comparable environments. Willingness and ability to travel intrastate as required.
